SCAR REDUCTION

Scars
A scar is nature's self-protection, the result of wound healing.
Initially, scars are red; then, when healed they become silvery white or keloid. Keloid scars are red, raised, thick smooth scars; some people are prone to keloid scarring. Though scars may seem harmless, they can block the body's acupuncture meridians and energy flow.

Scars respond very favourably to application of a high frequency bulb with colour therapy (violet), followed by massage with probes attached to a low frequency generator. This serves to transmit a current through the scar, opening up the circulation and flow of energy.

This treatment is also effective in reducing internal scar tissue.
