SUPERIOR QUALITY
Heavenly Heat was one of America’s first distributors of infrared
saunas and began building chemically safe far-infrared
saunas for chemically sensitive people in 1989. Using white poplar wood,
no-adhesive construction, and non-allergenic materials, these safe saunas
evolved to include Finnish stone heating, to significantly improve the
sauna’s air-change rate and provide optional humidity control
with ceramic far-infrared heat that more efficiently warms the body.
The combination heating, when properly balanced, creates the most comfortable
and enjoyable saunas, as well as the safest and most effective saunas
for detoxification. The superior qualities of these state-of-the-art
saunas are readily apparent to health-conscious individuals.
DETOXIFICATION
The chemical onslaught of modern life affects everyone. It is beneficial
to periodically reduce our body’s burden of toxins. Saunas have
been proven to assist very effectively in this process. Because of this,
saunas have become a significant health maintenance tool for the home.
Unlike others, Heavenly Heat’s saunas are designed specifically
to create a safe, pure-air interior environment.
PURITY OF PRODUCTS
Due to allergy concerns, common resinous softwoods, such as: spruce,
pine, cedar, or redwood, are not used. Common synthetic building materials
are never used, such as: adhesives, putty, varnish, plastic windows,
fiberglass, plywood, or other potentially harmful products. Only
premium grades of untreated white poplar are used, and unlike
some imitators, all of the sauna’s wood is poplar, including
the roof and concealed framing. Windows are made of strong
heat-tempered glass, not plastic. Each component part is skillfully
secured without adhesives by using non-corrosive screws.

MODELS
Heavenly Heat has 2 choices for saunas:
1. All Infrared Models
2. Combination: Traditional Stone Heaters and Far Infrared
All-Infrared Models
Each of these models is designed to be larger and more comfortable than other FIR saunas. They also provide greater amounts of far-infrared exposure along with our unique, state-of-the-art safety control systems.
In these models, one of the FIR back heaters and the NIR ceiling heaters are separated from the sauna’s thermostat so they are not automatically regulated by the room’s air temperature setting. They are controlled by the sauna’s timer and also by the direct control of the bather from within the sauna. Each inside controller modulates the infrared intensity of these critical heaters. Beginners have the ability to minimize the infrared exposure initially, as they adapt, and to later allow continuous full-power exposure regardless of the sauna’s air temperature. These are important features for both safety and optimal detoxification benefits.
FIR1

A personal FIR sauna that surrounds the bather with 6 far-infrared heaters. The bather has full FIR exposure in front of each leg, behind the lower legs, along the back, and at each side of the upper torso. To increase the sauna’s intensity, and to receive the therapeutic benefits of red light, a near-infrared (NIR) ceiling lamp can be switched on, and its’ intensity modulated, from within the sauna. This model uses a standard 15-amp, 110V outlet.
To order phone 1-800-334-2605
FIR2

Full FIR exposure is provided for two bathers with 5 heaters. One FIR heater is positioned at the end of the bench, in the side wall, so a single bather can stretch out along the bench with FIR still at their back. Most 2-person FIR saunas have no end wall heater to warm the back in this more comfortable position, and removing the back heating causes the sweat rate to quickly drop off or to stop completely.
This sauna also uses a standard 15-amp, 110V wall outlet. One or two red/NIR ceiling lamps can be added as options, with these options necessitating the use of a 20-amp, 110V circuit.
To order phone 1-800-334-2605
FIR3

Rear view

To order phone 1-800-334-2605
At 6’2” wide, this is a very spacious 3-person FIR sauna. A single bather is able to recline on a 5’9” long bench. It includes 7 FIR heaters plus two red/NIR ceiling heaters. The red light is positioned to provide comfortable heating upon the bench so sweat rate is not compromised when the bather reclines. A 20-amp, 110V circuit is required
COMBINATION MODELS: Traditional Stone Heaters and FIR Infrared
THE
'A' MODELS

To order phone 1-800-334-2605
The A model is a very comfortable personal sauna at almost 3’
deep, just over 4’ wide, and 6’2” tall. One sits along
a 3’ side wall, with the longer 4’ dimension providing ample
legroom. The A1 & A2 use stone heaters, with far-infrared as an
option. The A-Rad uses a very small stone heater along with five ceramic
far-infrared heaters - three in the sloped backrest and two below the
seat.
The A-Rad is used on a dedicated 15-amp, 110V home circuit. The A1 requires
a 20-amp, 110V circuit, and the A2 requires a 20-amp, 240V circuit.
Typical temperature ranges are: the A1 at 120-160f, the A2 at 120-170f,
and the A-Rad at 100-145f. Adding the RB to the A1 or A2 allows use
in the lower A-Rad temperature levels.
The A2, with the strongest heater, allows the maximum use of glass,
so GL4 is standard (all four walls have glass). The A-Rad has the least
power and the most wood (GL1 - glass only in front, with a light). These
two rooms have the same basic interior: a backrest, a footrest platform,
and fill sections for leg support. You can lean back and stretch your
legs out in front of you.
The A1 has a 2.1kw stone heater with GL3 as standard (the rear wall
is wood, the front & both sides have windows). Because this heater
is considerably less powerful than the A2’s, the seat is raised
to benefit from the infrared heat radiated from the hot stones unless
the RB option is included. With the raised bench, the fill sections
are replaced by a step that acts as a footrest. It is very comfortable
and includes a standard backrest.
THE 'C' MODELS

To order phone 1-800-334-2605
The C is a narrow personal
sauna designed to allow full leg extension or reclining for a short
person. It is just over 30” deep by just over 5’ long. One
sits with their back against an end wall, facing the longer dimension.
The stone heater is positioned in the far rear corner, away from the
bather. A platform is positioned in front of the heater, with a guard
around it, on the same level as the bench. One can use the platform
as a footrest, or, position the lightweight entry step as a fill section
to link the two ends, creating one continuous full-length bench. An
alternative dual-user, parent-child layout is available upon request
in which the heater is moved towards the center of the rear wall with
a small seat at each end.
The standard C1 and C2 both have wooden back walls and glass fronts
and sides (GL3). They are identical but for the different heaters. The
C1 uses the 2.1kw, 20-amp, 120V heater and the C2 uses a stronger 3kw,
20-amp, 240V heater. The C2 offers a GL4 option (windows on all walls)
that the C1 does not. As this room is thin enough to fit through some
doorways, it comes with rolling, locking floor casters as a standard
feature. These are very comfortable personal saunas when the narrowness
is not a personal factor.
THE A+ MODELS

To order phone
1-800-334-2605
With about 30% greater interior space than many 2-person infrared saunas,
and even more room than some “3-person” models, the A+ is
a 1 or 2-person super-sauna, integrating the best features of far-infrared
and authentic stone heating. Two and three-person infrared sauna models
are often considered in order to attain more comfort for personal use,
but in the typical infrared sauna, when you tire of sitting fully upright,
as is required for maximum effect, and reposition yourself against an
adjacent side wall to stretch out, the sweat rate tends to drop off
significantly from relinquishing the intense heating of the spine that
was essential to triggering the lower temperature perspiration. In the
A+, if bathing alone, one can pivot the radiant backrest to the adjacent
wall to continue the far-infrared heating and stretch out, optimizing
both efficacy and comfort.
The air exchange in the combination sauna is much better than in an
infrared-only sauna. Infrared saunas typically have no fresh air inlet
in the lower three-quarters of the room. The air is relatively still
and gets stuffy, often necessitating the opening of the door in order
to breathe comfortably. This is a basic design flaw of most all-infrared
saunas. You can warm-up to a limited extent with an open door, but you
will not perspire at a high rate for very long with the door open. A
properly ventilated sauna is safer and more comfortable. An effective
air-change is attained from a traditional heater due to its cylindrical
shape and the always-open inlet vent at its base that forces air movement
closely around the heating elements. New air is drawn in, warmed, and
continuously circulated throughout the sauna, from floor to ceiling.
Finnish studies suggest a complete air change at least every 5 minutes.
THE 'XTRA C' MODEL

To order phone
1-800-334-2605
This is a larger version of the C model – about 6” deeper
and a full foot longer. The C stands for convertible: two bathers can
sit facing each other, or a single bather can use the second backrest
as a filler to join the two seats. This creates a full-length bench
at 5’10” straight across.
If two infrared backrests have been selected, a separate filler is included.
The radiant backrests can pivot to the rear wall to allow room for reclining.
The stone heater is an all-stainless steel 4kw, 240V with an appliance
power cord.
THE 'M' MODELS

To order phone 1-800-334-2605
In the three M models, the height is raised to 6’7”, and
the main benches are elevated so the heat can be most effectively experienced.
The M1 and M2 use GL3 as the standard model – full windows are
on the front and both sides. The M3 uses GL1, all wood except for the
front, with an inside light. These units all have deluxe stainless steel
240V stone heaters that require professional electrical hookup. Radiant
backrests can be added to these units within general limits: the M1
will most comfortably utilize 1-3, the M2 1-4, and the M3 1-5. Each
model is large enough to accommodate more than this, but the above limits
allow each bather to be able to lean back comfortably and stretch their
legs out along the bench.
The M1 is 4’6” deep by 6’2” wide. The longer
section of the elevated “L”–shaped bench runs along
the rear wall and is about 5’10”. A four-foot long shorter
leg runs along the side wall. As a layout option, one can choose to
have the bench separated with the short leg lowered to run under the
rear bench. This yields a temperature variance of about 15F between
levels that is often ideal for couples bathing together, each within
their own comfort zone. Simply request this “dual layout”
when ordering (there is no charge).
The M2 is 4’6” deep by 7’6” wide. This allows
an elevated L-shape main bench at a full 7’ length. A lower seat
parallels the side leg and runs under the rear bench to the back wall.
This is a very comfortable room for 3 or 4 bathers and accommodates
the very tall bather who desires to recline in the sauna.
The M3 is 5’9” deep by 7’6” wide. This allows
for a twin set of L-shape benches, including two 7’ spans.
The standard M3 has GL1 – wooden sides & front, a glass front,
and a wall light.

HEAT TESTIMONIALS
“I have
used it for 30 minutes five times per week on average, for the past
four years. The sauna has been one of the main modalities that have
returned me to robust health. Thank you.”
MJ, Texas
“I have used it regularly as part of my treatment program for
environmental illness. The levels of pesticides and other toxins in
my blood have dropped significantly during this time. Sweating it out
does work!”
AB, Arizona
“I decided to let you know how extremely pleased I am with the
quality of the sauna. I am chemically sensitive and never had one moment
of bad reactions to the materials used in making the sauna. The protocol
of exercise and sauna has been the key to helping reduce my total load
and has happily allowed me to perspire more efficiently for the first
time in my life. I am far better and less reactive thanks in large part
to the sauna.”
LF, New York
“My VOC blood level profiles – pre and post sauna –
show proof positive for the efficacy of heat depuration in my specific
case. I know my sauna will be my greatest aid in the quest for improved,
if not restored, health.”
VK, Pennsylvania
“I purchased an A2 because of my MCS and my need for detoxification
after exposures. I am feeling much better. Thank you so very much for
making a product that is safe for someone like me with CFS, MCS, and
Fibromyalgia.”

The GL2 that is standard in the A+1 has the rear 1/2 of the sauna in
wood; the front half in full windows. This version of the GL2 option
can also be selected for the M models. A fabric-covered, protective
metal grill is installed in front of the infrared heaters. The fabric
is a synthetic material common to infrared saunas. It appears to be
non-bothersome, but can be omitted upon request.
GLASS/WOOD CHOICES
The glass is clear, heat-tempered, and 3/16" thick. Each model
uses a standard amount of glass. You can customize your sauna by changing
the standard with any available "GL" option ($75.00). Wooden
walls retain heat slightly better than glass panels do. The standard
use of glass for each model is listed under GL in the center column
of the Detail Sheet and the GL options for each model are listed in
the 2nd column to the right of the standards. The chart's abbreviations
are listed here:
• GLD: a wooden room with a glass door.
• GL1: glass in the door & in the front wall section(s) of
the sauna only.
• GL2: a glass front & either side (or in the approximate
front ½ of the A+, M1 or M2).
• GL3: a glass front & both sides, with a wooden rear wall.
• GL4: glass sections all the way around.
A wall light is automatically installed, at no added charge, whenever
the GLD or the GL1 option is selected.
HEATERS
The Finnish heaters are UL, CSA, or CE approved deluxe stainless steel
models with highly heat-absorbent igneous stones. Controls feature 60-minute
timers, over-heat protection, and thermostats. The larger "M"
models require professional "hardwire" hookup. Smaller models
have power cords for plug-in. Water can be used on the hot stones to
create light steam as desired. Each heater is cleaned and run hot prior
to placement in the sauna. Electrical specifications are listed on the
Detail Sheet.
Ceramic, far-infrared heating is included as a standard feature in two
models: the 1-person “A-Rad” & the 2-person “A+”,
and the far-infrared “radiant backrest” is an option (RB)
in all other models. Additional infrared heating can be added under
the seats in any model (XIR). More than one RB can be added in the XtraC
and the M models. The gently sloped backrest has 3 ceramic heaters that
emit peak wavelengths of readily absorbed far-infrared energy. The backrests
combine vertically and horizontally mounted heaters to optimize radiant
warming of the entire back. These heaters have been carefully selected
for their “radiant efficiency” - 96% of their energy is
emitted as infrared radiation; 4% as air-heating. Steel infrared heaters
are much less radiant efficient and get uncomfortably hot.
Infrared energy heats the body efficiently and stimulates perspiration
at slightly lower sauna air temperatures, particularly when the energy
is directed at the heat-sensitive spinal column. It can also provide
relief from pain and stiffness. Each of our saunas contains a traditional
stone heater primarily for the enhanced air-exchange that is significantly
superior to all-infrared heating. With an RB (radiant backrest), any
sauna can be used at the lowest infrared temperature levels. Integrating
the best qualities of each type of heating system results in saunas
that are more comfortable, more versatile, and generally much more enjoyable
than those with only infrared.
The Finnish stone heaters provide a constant, complete air exchange
so that contaminated air is quickly removed from the sauna. The hot
stones are a powerful source of infrared energy so there is an FIR gain
by replacing a corner FIR heater with a stone heater. The far-infrared
ceramic heaters have been tested for the lowest electromagnetic fields,
which is important because they are very close to the bather in an infrared
sauna. The unique non-toxic construction and the flow-through ventilation
provide the pure atmosphere that is essential for effective detoxification.

STANDARD FEATURES
Each sauna model is a complete, free-standing room with a full floor
(OK to be set on carpet). They each include carbon-filtered, flow-through
air ventilation (no further venting or plumbing is required). Each sauna
is factory-assembled, tested, baked, ozone purified, baked again, disassembled
and crated (not boxed) in convenient-to-handle sections, and shipped
fully insured, with a seven year warranty. All models
may be disassembled and relocated. Other standard features found in
all models are: wide benches with backrests, heater guards, towel bars,
an abundance of tall windows, and glass & metal thermometers.
DELIVERY
The prices do not include shipping. The saunas are delivered to your
home, clinic, or office freight collect, fully insured. This is collected
upon delivery, with charges billed at our professionally discounted
rates. For estimation purposes, the A models average in the $150-225
range, and each model size larger increases the delivery cost by about
$50.00. Rate quotes are available.
PLEASE NOTE - FOR
CHILDREN
If you expect that a young child will use the sauna, please let us know.
We will install a protective fence around the stone heater and include
a built-in dimmer for custom control of the heat intensity of a far-infrared
backrest, at no charge. We will work with you to further “child-enhance”
the sauna.
